Cristiana's father taught her this; she then passed it
to Johann, who was in full agreement.

Johann and Cristiana's tradition was to meet every last
Sunday of the month, at that "smoky jazz cave" in downtown
Paris. The place they met a few years back after her interview.

Cristiana, of French and Italian descent, met Johann at
The Louvre and they hit it off from the start. She was copying
one of the late masters. Due to graduate that semester,
her work inspired Johann to hire her on the spot.

Their tradition started that smokey night after their short talk
at the museum. She agreed to "learn the business" of being an
art dealer by starting as Johann's personal assistant.

Almost three jam packed years of globe trotting, Cristiana hasn't
regretted a day.

Johann wanted to inform his now trusted assistant that their lives
were about to change. His "in-law" was close to finding or acquiring
"a piece" that no one knew existed. He was to get to see and
introduce it to the art world once found.

Not going into much detail, he touched upon the finer points of chess
and said, if Odelia (who should be in Greece) pulls this off, it would
change chess history forever.

Suddenly Cristiana motions to Johann that "something's wrong". The
main act should have started by now....it was 12:30 am.... Johann,
calling the manager aside inquired "what was happening", picking up
on Cristiana's intuition.

The manager, a longtime friend motioned him to GET OUT QUICKLY! That
she has vanished! The main act! She flew in from Greece last night and was
supposed to sing, but never made it, the police should arrive in five minutes!
