Deep Breath Meditation


Please follow these instructions as best as you can.

Candle Incense meditation


Meditation Position

Wash your hands with water (warm or cold) first!

This is what you will need for your daily meditation for the next 3 years.
If you miss a day or two it does not matter. Just begin where you left off.

It is recommended that this meditation is continued daily. Try to reach 15
minutes per day (or until your legs get uncomfortable - discomfort interferes
with your concentration).

If your legs "go to sleep" before 15 minutes, just stop and start again
the next day. With time, they shouldn't go to sleep.

One white candle

One stick of incense (Sandalwood or frankincense or any sweet smelling incense)
If you cannot get incense - you can meditate without it!

15 minutes of your time


Before you start your meditation, light your candle and burn a little
incense (for about 2 - 5 minutes) you can leave the incense burning throughout
your meditation if you choose, just place it where it's smoke is not too strong.

The incense "cleanses the air".

After cleansing the air, sit on the floor in full lotus position
(cross legs with bottom of feet on top of each knee).

If you cannot sit in full lotus, sit on floor in half lotus position
(put only one bottom foot on top of one knee, your other foot rests on the floor).

If you cannot achieve half lotus, just sit on floor with crossed legs.
(Both feet touch the floor).

Put your lit candle in a safe place where you can see it as you meditate!

NOW

(1) Sit in lotus OR half lotus OR crossed legs position, then

(2) TILT YOUR HEAD BACK UNTIL YOU CAN'T TILT IT BACK ANYMORE.
(Without bending backwards).


You must be able to see your lit candle with your head tilted back!
(You are "closing an energy gate" that is in the back of your neck!)

(3) Put your hands ON TOP OF EACH KNEE FACE UP and flat open!

(4) Breathe DEEPLY AND SLOWLY in and out for 10 times to start!


NOW AT REGULAR INTERVALS
( ABOUT EVERY 2 MINUTES )
DURING YOUR MEDITATION:

A. BREATHE QUICKLY 10 TIMES

THEN

B. BREATHE DEEPLY AND SLOWLY 10 TIMES

THEN

C. RELAX & FEEL YOUR "INNER BREATH" -
IT FEELS LIKE THE BEATING OF YOUR HEART.
Listen to your heart beat.

REPEAT: STEPS A.B.C FOR THE REST OF YOUR MEDITATION


Remember, this is to last 15 minutes, but stop if your foot "falls asleep"
or you feel drowsy or uncomfortable - but try for a minimum of 5 minutes
for the next 3 years. Feel when time's up or set an alarm clock!

After your meditation (after 15 minutes) just relax for about 3 minutes or more.

Blow out candle and take any notes (if you had any thoughts), study
these notes later or weekly.

Remember to take notes of your dreaming for the next 3 years of this meditation
Your dream time is the most important time of day and gives you a "picture" of
your MIND'S activity!


What this meditation does for you:

This meditation burns out all the emotions
one builds up during one's life. These emotions are centered at
the solar plexus (a little above your stomach) and if one has had
bad experiences, this meditation cleanses you of all that emotional baggage.
