Double Take

His business stole him.....

Were the words of Tabatha's mother as she fled Sweden.
Her life became so unbearable that her husband didn't
even know she was 3 months pregnant.

She married him not his business....

When her husband asked her why the extra room was
decorated for "a baby", that is when she hit rock
bottom.

She fled to France.

Tabatha's mother was so exhausted, she collapsed at
the doorsteps of a semi-remote cloister of nuns.

The sight wasn't new to the nuns, they had "runaways"
all the time, but this one had an inner strength to
have come this far.

Once they found out she was pregnant, she broke down
and "told them everything" - her husband is obsessed
with power - he WILL find her - his connections are
too good - it was just a matter of time.

Later that year, Tabatha's mother gave birth to twins,
but died at childbirth. That is when the nuns devised
a scheme they hope will be forgiven in the future.

They would return only one child to Sweden
and keep the other safe, since Tabatha's father didn't
know his wife was pregnant with twins. This way
they would honor a woman that gave all of them hope, by
her always cheerful demeanor.

Two nuns were dispatched to Sweden and the "hand over" went
smoothly - Mr. Viveka knew his wife vanished, but his business
demanded his time. He was clearly shaken when the nuns told
him her wife had passed away. They reported back that he "would
be a changed man" from that day.

At the age of twenty-one, Teresia was told the truth about her
past and her twin sister, Tabatha. As the nuns always suspected,
Teresia informed them she would leave.

Teresia left the next day, forever grateful for the kindness of
the nuns, she decided to establish herself in France - that is
when the dreams started.
