Lara Croft Odelia Attar

An evening in Greece

Over the years, Mr. Boeker has put together
a shortlist of "Trusted Buyers".

A "Trusted Buyer" is a client that Mr. Boeker
just needs to mention what he has "available" and
a courier is at his current location with a chest of
Gold, sometimes within 3 banking days.

Ms. Croft is such a client.

The type of business she's in, makes a person like
Mr. Boeker, a valuable connection to have.

The communique she received in Britain about a paper
on Mathematics was intriguing. More intriguing, though,
was The Chess Service Mr. Boeker associated with it.

In all her years, she has never heard of such an artifact.
She flew into Greece within the week, but something very
strange happened.

Ms. Croft wandered into a certain Greek restaurant for
her evening meal.

The waitress that night seemed very distracted.

This was not Ms. Croft's first time at this restaurant and
the proprietor made no augment when Ms. Croft asked
to let the waitress have the rest of the evening off.

(Ms. Croft was a very generous patroness)

Ms. Croft invited the waitress to dine with her and their
conversation lasted well into the night.

Ms. Croft got so well informed on The Chess Service of King
Solomon, that she immediately took Ms. Odelia Attar as a
partner to look for this treasure.

Odelia knew she was close to "a breakthrough" in her research,
so her thoughts wandered frequently. She really appreciated
the time off that night.

In this new partnership, Ms. Croft was lending not only her
financial resources, but her many years of experience looking
for the very items, this bright young lady was questing for.

Mr. Boeker was not a man to complain.

Since Ms. Attar was his confidential connection, this meeting
between Ms. Croft and Odelia was "unexpected".

Ms. Croft still paid Mr. Boeker's a fee. They mutually worked
it out to be understood as a "broker's fee."
