Detour
Logan and Maria, on their way to a safe house
he knew, decides against it. That hideaway
is not a place to go if half the country will
be looking for you. Xcalak...is a better choice.
Maria: Where do you suggest we go? We can't go up north.
If what you just said is correct, we can't get on a
plane either! We'll be trapped!
Logan: I think a "3 hour tour" will be necessary.
I've already been to Xcalak and we should roll into town
in no time. After what we've been through, I'm not gonna
chance the borders. We're gonna sail due East into the
Caribbean Sea, then U-Turn it into Belize,
then vanish.
Maria: Sail? Sail?!?!
Logan: If the weather is good,
we should be in Belize in no time.
Logan and Solis pull into Xcalak. Before Logan could
catch his breath, an unidentified man gives him a
manila envelope and smiles at him. He then looks at
Maria, winks at Logan then walks away!
Before he got out of ears'
reach, Logan asked him "How he knew".
Jones cryptic reply was: "The person who paid for that
boat wants a carton of cigarettes, when you return."
