Ingredients
(1)
1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
(2)
3 Tablespoons of Brown Sugar
(3)
1 Tablespoon of White Sugar
(4)
1 Tablespoon of Honey
(5)
1 Cup of Water
(6)
1/2 Cup of Evaporated Milk
(NOTE: We will use this 1/4 cup at a time)
(7)
1 Cup of oatmeal
(Note: I use the "Old Fashioned" type, not "quick oats")
(1)
In pot, add your:
Salt / Brown Sugar / White Sugar / Honey
Water / and 1/4 Cup of Evaporated Milk.
(2)
Over Medium Heat, bring
this mixture to gentle boil.
( My heat settings range
from 1 - 10; I used "5". )
(3)
Add your Oatmeal
and Stir.
(4)
Cover as it cooks, but stir
occasionally until oats are done.
Careful, not to let it boil over!
Open the cover and stir frequently.
Old Fashioned Oats took about
6 minutes to cook.

Turn off Heat and scoop into bowl.
Then add your last 1/4 cup
of Evaporated Milk.
Enjoy!
