Special Delivery
Before he left for Sweden, he emailed the two people he could
not only trust with the day to day affairs of his pub, but people
he could trust with his dog, "Rupert". These two he'll trust
to handle the special drop he was expecting that night.
Diana and Johana have been writing challenging CODE with Mark.
Most of the challenges came from Mark's brilliant mind, but the
cranking out of the CODE came from all three of them. Johana
has never been without her laptop and one of her skills is
being able to sniff out a signal from just about anywhere.
Diana knew there was something very wrong when "Rupert"
didn't make a sound when she and Johana tried to enter Mark's
apartment.
The key didn't even work, anymore!
Johana then took the "scenic route", opened Mark's
door and stared into Diana's eyes in total shock.
Diana: Mark, what the hell happened here?
Mark: What are you talking about? Please see to it that you take
Rupert home with you, his food is in the kitchen and also
make sure you give him a bath.
Diana: Mark, your dog's gone and everything else in your apartment!
Johana: Its Digital Alchemy isn't it?
Mark: Johana, I just landed in Sweden. You and Diana stay there! You have to
collect what will come through that door in about 30 minutes! After you make
the collection, get out! Get out fast !
Johana: I knew it! Mark, it worked! We're going to make mad bank on this one!
Mark: Yeah - We'll be sure in about 27 minutes. Johana,
after you two make the collection, head to France,
DO NOT TELL DIANA WHERE YOU ARE GOING!
Now give the phone to Diana.
Diana: I guess it's CODE RED. Where to, Mark?
Mark: The Isle of Man. The collection is to be processed
by Johana. You are to email me once you make it. I think
we may have out done ourselves here.
Diana: Mark, what about your CODE? I could eat off the floor here.
They did a real professional job.
Mark: Please. Diana you know me better than that. Everything
in that apartment was bogus. Do you have the digital camera I
gave you yesterday and told you to carry it with you always until
further notice?
Diana: Of course...
Mark: Let me guess what Johana is doing now, is she scanning for a signal?
Diana: She's already checking email...
Mark: Give her the camera, ask her to access its memory.
Diana: Done.... I knew it, Mark - you screwed the guys that
cleaned out your place! You hid the CODE didn't you?
Johana: Give me that phone!
Johana: Mark, you hid the CODE in flash memory?
Mark: It is a TEMP(orary) drive. Anyway, Diana is to take that cam
to her location, you are to head to yours. DO NOT DISCUSS
ANYTHING! ZIP that CODE and upload it to your server. I'll
grab a copy of it in 15 minutes and erase it from my end. In fact,
wipe out everything on that camera before you leave that apartment.
Johana: Got it. Mark! There's someone at the door! Should we
use the "scenic route" ?
Mark: No! That's why you're there! Tell Diana to sign for it,
the package is in her name by the way. Call me in 5.
Diana: Mark, what is this and why did the courier ask not to
send items over 3.5 pounds? He said he did you a favor, this
time. Next time you give them 3 days notice.
Mark: Open it Diana, we don't have time!
Johana (yelling): Mark! It's GOLD! Lot's of GOLD!
Diana: We have to get out of here! Johana, take it! Mark,
we did it! I'll be out of the city in about 50 minutes,
Johana has already left.
