Basting Your Turkey
PART 5
You are to baste your turkey every hour
from the time you put it in.
Please also put as much basting juice into bird.
A lot of the mixture is in there and this will bring it out!
FINAL NOTE
Understand, with the sauce on top, your turkey will
brown very well. Just cut into it and see how juicy it is.
My turkey (14 pounds cooked in 3 1/2
hours and the top looked like below.
Well done and very juicy! Just see the plate below.
I usually flip the turkey 3 hours into
baking - this time I didn't.
If you have a bigger turkey or choose to flip it,
please be careful! Everything will be HOT!
You can, rather, carve into your turkey about 2-3
hours into cooking and just put back into your
pan in the sauce and bake the rest of the time.
Further, When your turkey is done,
the marinade that cooks with the turkey makes a
delicious rich dark brown sauce you can eat with
your turkey and sides!
You don't even need gravy!
Happy Eating!
If you want to make some soup after
you made this turkey, go here for:

turkey and rich brown sauce for it.
I save these parts immediately.
I scoop out the:
1 Cup of Rich Brown Sauce.
Cut out the 1/2 Turkey Breast and
the 1 Turkey Thigh. Put in plastic
container and freeze it.
Until I'm ready to make this soup.
