Gabe's Mashed Potatoes


Ingredients



4 Cups Chopped Potatoes

6 Tablespoons of Butter


1/2 Cup Evaporated Milk

1 1/2 teaspoons of Salt

1/2 teaspoon of Black Pepper


Procedure


PART 1

(1)

Chop your potatoes and measure out 4 cups.


2 good size potatoes should give you this.

( Cut it so that it cooks quicker. )

(NOTE: I left the skin for this recipe
You can peel it if you choose.)


Put in a pot and fill to potato level

To pot with potatoes,
Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt

To pot with potatoes, also
Add 1/4 teaspoon of Black Pepper


PART 2

(a)
Let cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.

( My heat settings range from 1 - 10; I used "5". )

(b)

After 20 minutes, use fork and test for softness.
It should be soft enough to mash, you do not want
to over over the potatoes.

(c)

Put in big bowl

To your potatoes add your 1 teaspoon of salt /
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper / your 6 tablespoons of /
butter / and your 1/2 Cup of Evaporated Milk.

(e)

With a masher, mash until
all the potatoes are mashed well.

(f)

Then use a fork and manually
whip the potatoes for about a good
2 - 3 minutes.


It is done!
