Ingredients
2 Cans of Tuna
( Tuna in water or Tuna in oil is fine )
We will use Tuna in water for this recipe.
1/2 Cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 of medium Red Onion
2 Cloves of Garlic
1 Tablespoon of White Wine Vinegar
1 Tablespoon of Balsamic Vinegar
1 Teaspoon of Salt
1 Teaspoon of Black Pepper
OPTIONAL:
1 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce
Make about 3 cups of white rice
( This meal will go as far as you like )
PART 1
(a)
Dice Onions and set aside
(b)
Dice Garlic and set aside
(c)
Put onions and garlic in one bowl
(d)
Open 2 cans of tuna (with water)
and put in one bowl and set aside.
(Do not drain the water - we will use it)
PART 2

Heat Extra Virgin Olive Oil
over medium heat.
( My heat settings range from 1 - 10; I used "5". )

Add your onions and garlic to hot oil
(3)
Add about 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt and 1/2 Teaspoon
of Black Pepper to onions and garlic and stir
occasionally until lightly brown.
PART 3
(i)
Add your Tuna to your lightly
browned onions and garlic.
(ii)
Add another 1/2 teaspoon of salt and
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper to your tuna.
(iii)
Add your White wine vinegar / Balsamic Vinegar
your Soy Sauce ( if you chose to use soy sauce )
to your tuna.
(iv)
Cover and let cook.
Stir occasionally for about 7 - 10 minutes.
until tuna starts to brown.
Your tuna will look something like this.
Turn off heat and that's it!
Serve on white rice.
Even add a plantain side if you like.
