Method to make Green Plantain ripe!


You start with plantain that looks a bit like this:


(1)
Get a plastic bag, put your plantain/s
in and wrap it tight, like so:

(2)
Get a brown bag and put in your plastic
covered green plantain/s in and wrap again.

(3)
Place in a cool dry place - like your cupboard.
Check every day or every other day. It should
ripen (turn yellow) quickly!

That's it! Your plantain is now ready for frying.
